The two-seat layout makes passenger fit a central question for fleet strategy. A vehicle can be efficient for many short trips without serving every group, luggage requirement or accessibility need. Fleet composition should therefore follow the trips a service expects to serve, rather than assuming one vehicle replaces every other format.
Our interpretation is that Cybercab made the dedicated-asset concept concrete. The next evidence to seek would be operating performance, boarding experience, service procedures and commercial availability. A compelling vehicle design can open possibilities, but does not yet establish which possibilities an independent fleet company can access.
