Wider Robotaxi app access was separate from wider service availability

Distribution through an app store can expand awareness much faster than a fleet can expand geographically. Downloading software is therefore a weak indicator of whether someone can request a ride at their location.

A useful market assessment separates audience size, service coverage and actual completed trips. App access belongs in the customer-acquisition story, while operating coverage belongs in the fleet-readiness story.
