Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy
The actual cookies used by this website and their purposes.
Version 2026-09-07-legal-v3 · Effective date: September 7, 2026
1. Purpose and scope
Broodex, Inc uses the controls described here for the Cybercab Collective Website. Cookies are small stored files; comparable technologies include local storage, pixels, embedded scripts and certain server-side event tools. A service can process device or browsing information without using a traditional cookie, so our privacy controls address the activity as well as its name.
The Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing, international recipients and rights. This policy identifies technology choices; it does not supply consent by itself.
2. Essential technologies
First-party access and authentication technologies support private-preview access, account sign-in and administrative security. A signed first-party referral cookie also remembers the first active referral link for up to 30 days to provide the requested prefilled, fixed attribution in the interest form. It does not transmit the visitor's identity to the referrer; the Privacy Policy explains the saved attribution and aggregate reporting.
No third-party advertising pixels, optional analytics or session replay are enabled. The current Cookie Settings page provides the actual inventory and explains browser controls. It does not offer switches for tracking services that are not installed. The calculator, legal pages and interest submission do not require consent to optional tracking.
3. Optional categories
Optional analytics, advertising, campaign measurement and experience tools are not enabled. No Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel or Microsoft Clarity integration is active. Introducing any such service would require an updated active inventory and the applicable notice, permission and opt-out controls before operation.
We do not use session replay on forms, pages carrying financial-interest answers, confirmation or preference pages. We do not send contact details, selected amounts, accreditation responses, sensitive fields, tokens or free-text submissions to advertising or replay tools. Server-side events and hashed identifiers do not bypass these restrictions.
4. Your controls
Cookie Settings is available from the footer and legal center and lists the technologies currently in use. There are currently no optional analytics or advertising categories to accept or reject, so no optional-tracking consent banner is presented. If optional purposes are introduced, equally accessible accept, reject and customization choices will be provided before those purposes operate; scrolling, silence or continued browsing will not count as consent.
Your browser can remove or block site cookies. Removing an access cookie signs you out or ends preview access. Removing the referral cookie stops carrying that browser's saved link attribution on future visits; it does not alter attribution already stored with a registration. A cleared cookie or new browser will not carry the earlier link attribution, and a subsequent valid referral link can set a new cookie. To request correction or deletion of stored personal information, use Your Privacy Choices.
No sale, sharing or targeted advertising is currently enabled through this Website. Your Privacy Choices explains the current position and available rights. Global Privacy Control does not enable any optional tracking. Required signal handling and choices will be implemented before any future covered advertising activity begins. We do not collect extra identity information merely to track a privacy choice across devices.
5. Active inventory and lifetimes
The current inventory below identifies the application cookies, their provider, purpose, first-party role and lifetime. Access and authentication cookies are distinct from the referral-attribution cookie; calling a service necessary does not itself decide every applicable consent requirement.
These first-party cookies are set by Cybercab Collective, operated by Broodex, Inc. Each applies to the whole website and uses HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax in production. Cookies appear only when the corresponding feature is used; local development names omit the __Host- prefix.
| Cookie | Purpose / category | Maximum duration |
|---|---|---|
__Host-cc-preview | Access to the private preview. Access and security | 24 hours |
__Host-cc-admin | Authenticated staff session. Access and security | 8 hours |
cc-challenge | Bind a staff email-code challenge to the requesting browser. Access and security | 10 minutes |
__Host-cc-account | Signed-in access to your preferences and referral statistics. Access and security | 8 hours |
__Host-cc-account-challenge | Bind your email-code challenge to the requesting browser. Access and security | 10 minutes |
__Host-cc-referral | Remember the first active referral link you followed and keep that code attached to the form. Requested referral attribution | 30 days |
The referral cookie contains a signed code and expiry, not your name or email. Referral owners see aggregate counts only. Your submitted attribution is stored with your interest record. Clearing browser cookies stops the browser from remembering the link but does not rewrite an already submitted record.
No analytics, advertising, session-replay, or marketing-fingerprint tools are installed. The website does not currently use local storage or session storage. Browser controls let you inspect or delete cookies; deleting access cookies signs you out.
Cloudflare manages production DNS and can proxy requests for delivery and security as described in the provider register. The application does not itself set Cloudflare challenge or bot-management cookies. If those edge features are enabled, their actual cookie names, purposes and lifetimes will be added to this inventory; they are not represented as active merely because DNS uses Cloudflare.
Providers and configurations can change. We update the inventory and obtain any necessary renewed permission before enabling a new optional purpose. A general reference to future technology does not authorize an undisclosed tracker now. Questions: privacy@cybercabcollective.com.
